Below is a step-by-step guide on the process of hiring a candidate through Little Sunshines Au Pair Agency:
- Simply go to the Family Requirements Form (if you haven’t already done this) and enter your requirements
- This form has been designed and developed to ensure that we receive all the information WE need in order to be able to assist you CORRECTLY and it also gives you the information YOU need in terms of the process, market related salaries, fees, guarantees etc. and it will answer a lot of your queries as you complete it
- Upon receipt of the Family Requirements Form we will reach out to you to confirm receipt thereof and to discuss your position in more detail (if needed)
- Thereafter we will send you communications that summarises your position based on the Family Requirements Form that you completed
- We will advertise your position to our database of more than 26 000 registered candidates and forward CVs to you as and when they become available
- Upon receipt of CVs please let us know which candidates you wish to interview and we will arrange the interviews taking your available dates and times into account
- After the interviews we will contact both the Family and the Candidates for feedback
- Should the Family wish to offer employment we will facilitate the agreement regarding the terms of employment etc. and extend the offer to the Candidate
- Once there is confirmation of the basic terms of employment, from both sides, we will send out the Letter of Appointment & Acceptance indicating the basic terms of employment etc. which includes the 3 month Probationary Period.
- Once the Letter of Appointment & Acceptance has been sent to BOTH parties, we will send the placement fee invoice to the Family
- Payment of the placement fee is required within 3 days from date of invoice
- There is a 4 month replacement guarantee that we will replace the candidate if the working relationship does not work out
- In the event that the placement fee exceeds R15 000 there is a 6 month replacement guarantee period that we will replace the candidate if the working relationship does not work out
- After the placement we are available at all times for advice and queries and in the event that something goes wrong we are there to advise based on the LRA and how to go about dealing with the situation etc.
Please Note the Following:
- We will continue to work on your position until we have assisted you with placement thereof otherwise until you have informed us that you no longer require a candidate
- There is NO limit to the number of CVs that we send to you
- We do NOT charge you per CV that we send to you
- We do NOT send a barrage of CVs, we rather seek to MATCH Families and Candidates, taking the brief into account, thereby easing the workload on the Family
