School Facilitator
At Little Sunshines Agency we have a database of School Facilitators who are qualified and experienced teachers / psychology graduates. If you would like to be a school facilitator or if you require a school facilitator simply contact us
Little Sunshines Agency was the first agency in South Africa to see the need for assisting families with school facilitators, more than a decade ago. We therefore have ample experience, and all the necessary resources and skillset to assist you every step of the way. We have worked with more than 100 schools in terms of placing school facilitators with families in South Africa and many schools recommend us to their families when the need for a school facilitator arises.
School Facilitators are often required for children who:
- require one-on-one academic or remedial assistance during school hours
- are considered “special needs” due to their emotional, mental, behavioural or psychological circumstances
- are physically challenged and require assistance i.e. Cerebral Palsy etc.
- a variety of other reasons…
Our School Facilitators:
- have their own car
- have a valid drivers license (though they generally do not drive the children around)
- have contactable references – we have also checked their references
- have no criminal record – we have checked their criminal status
- have done a first aid course
Our candidates go through a stringent interview process and formal candidate checks are carried out. They also undergo a child care test during the interview process. We therefore feel confident in stating that as we are so strict with our candidates, we have the cream of the crop to offer our families.
