Homeschool Jobs in South Africa
At Little Sunshines Agency we have expanded into the Homeschool Sector and we have a variety of Homeschool Jobs with various families around South Africa.
In order to apply for our Homeschool Jobs you would need to meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 1 Year Tutoring or Teaching experience
- Generally studying or have a Teaching Degree or Diploma or studying or have a Degree in Psychology
- if you don’t have this you can enroll into our Home School Teaching Course
- Your own car
- A passion for teaching children
- Knowledge of what is required in terms of homeschooling
- if you don’t have this you can enroll into our Home School Teaching Course
The following would be expected of a Home School Teacher:
- working from 08:00 or 09:00
- working until 12:00 or 13:00
- working Monday to Friday
- assisting the children with working through their home school programme
- assisting the parents in choosing a good home school programme
- we recommend the Brainline Online Home School System (IEB Curriculum)
- we recommend Teneo or Think Digital Online Home School System (CAPS Curriculum)
- developing a daily home school routine
- assisting the parents with registering the children for home school – applicable for Grade 1 to Matric
- identifying areas where the children need further academic support in terms of the home school curriculum
- assisting the children with their daily work, project work, revision work and examination preparation
- invigilating examinations when required / applicable
